OMG April Fools!
So, it's April Fools today. But technically it's already over. According to my father, (Gasp, I have a family!?) April Fools day only goes on until the afternoon begins. I don't believe that.
Want to know what I do believe, though? I believe that it's now pretty impossible to manage to fool someone successfully on April Fools Day, unless they're retarded or gullible. Retarded in the sense that they don't keep track of time, or gullible that they actually do know what day it is, yet still fall for things and are all like "Uhh, I'm stupid." and we'd all say "Yes, you are." and then cue the whole group laughing, the camera rising up into the sunset, and then a very much needed fade out with an orchestra holding a silent G. Yeah, that's what I call a.....
But anyhoo, I have no idea what colour I could use for an April Fools post, so I guess I could settle for... Orange? Naw, blue. Blue's a fun colour. It reminds me of Blue's Clues. I remember the good ol' days when Steve was still in Blue's Clues. That was awesome. Then they had to kill off his character by sending him to college to learn stuff. Meanwhile, his brother or something comes to take his place with his ugly rip-off of Steve's shirt. I seriously was almost brought to tears watching the bus drive down the road and the credits rolled by... What a sad day. I hope I never have to relive that moment.
You know what also reminds me of blue?.... The Blue Man Group, of course! Aw yeah, everybody dance. I don't care if you suck at dancing, the Blue Man Group rocks. I wish I had little figurines of the three of them, and then they'd be all like.. Yeah. That'd be so cool. I'm excited now.
In other news, I was doing my daily 'stare at the N64' when I realized that I must have this game. Back a few years ago when I had my first Nintendo 64, I had all the best games for it. Among those great games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, I had quite possibly the next best games you could ever find for the N64... Goemon's Great Adventure. I also had the one before that entitled Mystical Ninja, but it wasn't as good. I only got into the Mystical Ninja series when I was just seven or eight, when I was just strolling down the N64 game aisle when I came across a box with Goemon right on it. This box:

Everyday after that, I would walk by that box, but we'd end up getting a different game. One time, when we got there, I grabbed the box and showed it to my brother, who then proceeded to laugh.
"That game looks horrible." he said. Boy, did I prove him wrong. We ended up renting it, and I popped the cartridge in and turned it on. A large Konami symbol filled the television screen. I then knew, right then, I must own this game. I started a file, and laughed at the beginning cinematic. You could be Goemon, who's weapon is a pipe. Or, you could be Ebisumaru, who's weapon was spoon. I know it sounds querky, but I loved this game. It was in a third person view, and the game was epic. You could find two other characters. One was like a samurai warrior with long green hair, named Yai (she carried a sword of course, and had a sweet attack where she could spin it really fast and it created a shield which could reflect bullets and other projectile weapons back at the enemy who shot them). There was also my cousin's favourite character, Sasuke. He was like a robot-esque ninja, who ran on batteries (I remember because part of the game was collecting the batteries to make him work. One was in an oasis, the other one was at the highest point in a pine tree). So many good memories came from this game... And then, we saw it.
After beating this game and buying it, I was walking somewhere with my brother, and we saw another Goemon game: Goemon's Great Adventure. I almost died from excitement. Not only did this game have all my favourite characters again, it was two player co-operative. Now, if you know me as a gamer, I completely love cheese omelettes. I also love co-operative games. That way, I used to have my cousin over all the time, and we'd play it all the time. This game was not like Mystical Ninja, it was a three dimensional sidescroller. But it was even better than it. Unfortunately for me, I never did find the game to buy it. That made me sad. Then, one day, I'm playing some N64, when my brother tells me he found the game to buy. I exploded. Imploded even. I exploded and imploded simultaneously so that I just ceased to exist on the Earth. Once I was resurrected, we ran to the store and bought it. I regret selling all my games and N64 at Microplay to get the Gamecube. Now I fear that I'll never see the game in a store near me again.
Anyway, after telling that story, I almost forgot to get to the point here. As I stared at my N64, I realized I must look for it. So I put my 1337 game searching skills to good use (a.k.a. eBay searching) and I came across it. Goemon's Great Adventure for about ten dollars on eBay. No bids have yet been placed on it. I don't think. *Checks* Nope. But there's only three days left to place a bid on it, and I doubt I can use my parent's credit card to get it. I still have to ask/beg them for it, so wish me luck.

Goemon's Great Adventure will always be one of my favourite games of all time.
Anyway, I'm going to skip over to an even more serious subject. My undying affection to my very good friend, Eryn. She is just so uber cool, I don't know where the Hell to start! Firstly, I love her attitude. How she does things her way. I also like how she likes the Blue Man Group, because we both know that they rock! I love her magic tummy ^^. I envy her awesomeness (Funny because I'm typing in green text). There's just so much about Eryn that sets her above the rest. Our shared love of Chillattes. I seriously want her dog, Mac. I love her idea on how I should make her paragraph all multicoloured. Seriously, that idea was genius. I'm running out of colours now, so I should end this paragraph soon, so I'll just say I love Eryn because she's Eryn, And she's wicked sweet. =D
And she, my friends, is no Fool.
