WHOA!
Whoa ho ho! WHOOOOOOAAA HO-Dilly Ho!
So, after that awesome introduction, I'd like to provide my thoughts on something very close to my heart, as in, on a chain around my neck, and the only thing dividing it from my heart is skin, bones and muscle.
Lots of muscle.
But getting back on topic, it's the Wii I'm referring to. I've had it over a month, and I'll tell all three of you the tale.
I'm at the line outside the Toyz 'R' Us building, my father and I show up around 11:00 A.M. Now, the line looked a little disappointing to me, but we waited anyway for about an hour, in the cold. Then the manager comes out, after we've been told that there weren't many Wiis left. So he pulls out some tickets, and people reach out their hands to get one, giving them a shoe-in for a Wii when the store opens.
I was lucky number 13. ^.^ I was so overjoyed and relieved and just, I don't know, like my efforts had paid off. It was a really great feeling. So, we enter the store, and end up waiting another hour before we reach the electronics department, or like the "R" section, whatever the hell that means. On the way there we see people walk up and ask about the Wii, only to be told that this line consisted of the people who waited a long while (a couple people camped, I was lucky to only wait an hour) So we get in, only to find that they're out of controllers. I picked up Zelda of course, and 2000 Wii Points. I got home, extremely excited, and I played Wii Sports and Zelda for so long. It was unreal, how it seemed like the Wii was so far from my grasp, but it was actually in my hands. The first week it was like "Wow, I can't believe I have a Wii.", but it soon became more normal for me afterwards. I beat Zelda in a couple weeks, yet I'm still doing extra quests and things, the game is a godsend, even though it may have a few downsides, every game does.
I also played Red Steel, Excite Truck and Christmas today I recieved Elebits from my brother. I won't get into them deeply, as it's late and I'm burned out. Excite Truck plays alright, seems a little short, if you aren't one to unlock every single unlockable. Red Steel: Controls are nice, but the story is as if a monkey shat out a turd that had turned blue because he had an intestinal tract problem that was so severe that this blue turd had a fungus so disgusting, the thought of it made you vomit up your own intestines. Yeah, in other words, it sucks. The storyline, that is. Elebits is a really cool, original idea, which I'm sure many people will like. It really shows what the Wii remote can do.
Well, I'm off. Happy Christmas! Well, Boxing Day now.
